Welcome to 'Hillgrove', where you will be assured of a warm welcome from the proprietors, Margaret and Tony Drennan. 'Hillgrove' is a charming country home, set in mature gardens in a rural area near Kilkenny City. Though less than half a century old, with its creeper clad walls and white columned porch, it has the presence and style of a much older building. The interior is beautifully decorated and attractively furnished with antiques.
Hillgrove is recommended by many Travel guides including Frommers Ireland, Dillard/Causin, Hidden Places of Ireland and the Jenny Rees guide. In addition, Margaret is a National Breakfast Award winner and offers an extensive menu to suit all tastes.

Location: Kilkenny is a great base for touring the South East. Waterford Crystal is a one hour drive as is the Rock of Cashel. Wexford Heritage Park is one and a half hour's drive.
